Worked briefly in the nuclear industry in late 60's followed by work with semi-conductors in the early 70's. Has worked extensively in the domestic support industries (with the advent of colour television etc). Took an active interest in modular computer operating systems of the early 80's namely OS-9 & Unix derivatives. Current interests are Particle Physics and Cosmology.
